The facility is designed to feature five stabling lines, which will serve as designated spots where Vande Bharat rakes are to be parked and attended to. Architectural plans for the facility highlight a sprawling covered shed stretching 400 metres in length and 36 metres across. To enhance ventilation and trim power usage, the structure will incorporate solar tubes and roof-mounted ventilators. Furthermore, transparent polycarbonate panels will form part of the roof to let in natural daylight. This sophisticated maintenance hub at Wadi Bunder represents a specialized leap in rail infrastructure, ensuring that the Vande Bharat fleet remains supported by a cutting-edge, energy-efficient technical environment.
